Robertson include a Civil War diary from Jan. 1-Aug. 13, 1862 written on 52 loose pages; a certificate of participation from the State of Ohio, Gettysburg 50th Reunion; and a folded sheet containing drafts of a eulogy for Robertson's war mate, [William?] Jackson; and a letter of Dec. 4, 1892 to Col. E. Rice of the U.S. Army seeking employment at the World's Columbian Exposition for himself and two comrades from Co. B, 4th Regiment of the Ohio Volunteer Infantry.
